It is about a marine in Afghanistan who, moments before a battle, recalls a safer, happier place. The new musical had its worldpremiere at Dix Hills Performing Arts Center in Huntington, New York onJune 25-27, 2010.
Five-time Tony winning producer, Stewart F. Lane has written two booksJews on Broadway” and “Let’s Put on a Show”. His playwriting creditsinclude IN THE WINGS and IF IT WAS EASY, nominated for the American Theatre Critics Association’s New Play Award.

Stewart F. Lane receives the John Denver Spirit Award in Central Park, NYC on Tuesday, October 12, 2011
On Tuesday, October 12th the John Denver Spirit Award was presented to Stewart F. Lane at a ceremony in Central Park. Presented by Karmen T. Dopslaff of The Starsong Foundation and JoLynn Long of JD Spirit, the award celebrates the legacy of the late singer/songwriter John Denver.
